Winter Birds of Vancouver
I was very excited to be heading to Vancouver BC for a Winter Bird workshop with Jess Findlay and Connor Stefanison. These young Pros have made a significant impact on Nature and Wildlife photography in North America. They run some first class, hands on effective and practical workshops. There is nothing left for chance … rain or shine, they always had a plan B up their sleeves. I have been to Vancouver many time for business, and always enjoyed visits. The climate, the culture and the scenery are fantastic. The big surprise was the amount of wildlife diversity in the greater Vancouver Metro area. The Fraser River basin creates a fertile marsh for waterfowl and raptors alike. But that was just the tip of the iceberg as Jess and Connor guided us around this beautiful city to all of their favorite childhood haunts sharing the special opportunity to capture some really great images in the middle of winter. I was able to photograph birds from Bald Eagle to Anna Hummingbirds, and everything in between. Thanks for stopping by my website … I hope that you have enjoyed your visit, and hope you return real soon. In the meantime, I invite you to follow me on Instagram.
