Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge

I recently had the opportunity to attend the “Festival of the Cranes” at the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in San Antonio, New Mexico. The United State has 567 National Wildlife Refuges across our nation. The NWR are great places to see, observe and photography all kinds of wildlife and scenic. This was my first time to the Bosque del Apache, and the volunteer staff were so friendly and helpful, it did not disappoint. This is one of the major wintering grounds for the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese. Thousands of each species returns to Bosque annually beginning in early November. Our National Wildlife Refuge are great locations for a wide variety of wildlife. Thanks for stopping by my website … I hope that you have enjoyed your visit, and hope you return real soon. In the meantime, I invite you to follow me on Instagram.
